Founded in 1995, The Women’s Foundation for a Greater Memphis (WFGM) is a 501 (C)(3) non-profit organization committed to improving the wellbeing of economically vulnerable women and families annually through philanthropy and grantmaking initiatives, leadership, and collaboration. WFGM has played a major role as a backbone organization aligning people, resources, and coordinating community-based services through the two-generation approach to reduce poverty in Memphis.
Since 1996, WFGM has awarded over $34 million to 560 programs involving more than 100 local non-profits, including investments in advocacy and research.
How to Apply
The Women’s Foundation for a Greater Memphis (WFGM) grant application process is a “By Invitation” Request for Proposal (RFP). WFGM will invite organizations to submit grant proposals that align with our Vision 2025 Strategic Plan designed to reduce poverty and create pathways to economic self-sufficiency for the residents in the areas we serve.
