Women’s Foundation for a Greater Memphis Welcomes New Board Leadership and Members

The Women's Foundation for a Greater Memphis (WFGM) is pleased to announce the appointment of Joanna Crangle, Market President and Publisher of the Memphis Business Journal, and Ann Marie Wallace, MSPH, System Community Involvement Senior Coordinator at Baptist Memorial Health Care, as the Board Co-Chairs for 2023-2025.

Crangle and Wallace bring a wealth of experience, unique perspectives, and a passion for making Memphis a better community for all. In their roles as Co-Chairs, Crangle and Wallace will provide strategic direction and leadership to the Foundation, ensuring its continued success in advancing the economic and social mobility of women and families throughout the greater Memphis area.

In addition, WFGM appointed new executive committee members and nine new board members (listed in bold) who will join them in their mission to encourage philanthropy, foster leadership among women and support programs that enable women and children to reach their full potential:

WFGM recently announced its 2023-2024 grant cycle with its highest year-to-date investment of $1.6 million to 38 organizations in Memphis. Since 1996, WFGM has awarded more than $35 million to 185 local nonprofits, including investments in advocacy and research.
